Lucky Duck 2

I finished my second PDR. I made her a bit lighter then my first one and rigged with a larger sail. On Lucky Duck I used the mast and sail from a snark. The rig for Lucky Duck 2 is a sunfish mast with mini fish sail which I feel is the perfect size. The pivoting leeboard works really well. I prefer it to the fixed leeboard slot that I used on my first Duck. My original rudder from the snark was too small. I now have a larger pivoting rudder from a larger boat which made all the difference. I have had it out half a dozen times with adjustments made each time. I now have everything in it’s permanent place and love it. Attached are some photos. I also have build pics and vid’s if you would like them.
