Using a PD with an Outboard Motor

Greg Stoll used a 3.5 hp outboard and reported the following:
At 1/2 throttle, she goes 4-5mph.
Above 1/2 throttle, she really pulls the stern down.
At full throttle, you have to move to the front and she can get up to 7mph.


Gregg Ballou used a 2.5 hp outboard and reported the following:
At 1/3 throttle, she goes about 4.3 knots
At full throttle, she goes 4.7 knots, with one peak at 5.2 knots
