Cleveland Boat Show - CABBS
By John Bridges
I spent the weekend there and saw lots of interest in the two Puddle Ducks. We had lots of kids lining up for the "Building a Tug boat" models (300 kits had been cut out and assembled by CABBS members); many of these kids were too small for PDRacers but parents were interested and in a year or too will probably be a'buildin.
50 of so Puddle Duck leaflets were handed out and the most exciting response was from a Yacht club who hold an annual two week "Sail Camp" and want to include a Puddle Duck Hatch this year. Otherwise I am hopeful that at least 6 more Puddle Ducks will result from this event.
