2014 Mentor Headlands Beach Fest

Attached is the 2014 Mentor Headlands Beach Fest and PDR Building info. and our first Hatch by CABBS (CLEVELAND AMATURE BOATBUILDING AND BOATING SOCIETY).
The 2014 Mentor Headlands Beach Fest will be Saturday, July 26, 12:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Mentor Headlands State Park, 9601 Headlands Road, Mentor, Ohio, 44060. This free family outdoor celebration incorporates the arts with the elements of wind, water and sand to create the coolest event on Lake Erie and Ohio's longest beach. The mile long beach will be filled with colorful flying kites, sandcastles, live music, strolling performers, dancing, children's activities, arts & crafts, food and water related activities. This year the Cleveland Amateur Boatbuilding and Boating Society (CABBS - http://www.cabbs.org/) will be displaying boats that our members have built and demonstrating how to build a Puddle Duck Racer. Event goers will have an opportunity to help in the building of the Puddle Duck. The PDR will then be raffled to one lucky person who helped build the boat.
