Put The Decks On

This is the prototype of what we will be building for our class here at the museum, so hopefully she will have many more sister ships in the future. The current plan is for a 40sq ft Leg O’ Mutton sail as the bay here usually has pretty decent wind and that’s what the class boats will get; from what I’ve seen it should be enough sail to be fun without any risk of overstressing the lightly built hull and will also allow for nice shallow rudder and leeboards.
