Mast and Drip Rails

I'm scarfing to 8ft 1x2s to go with my 1x4s for the mast (15ft). You see the PC rings as clamps to repair an ailing 1x2 before construction. Why did i pick that up??? Oh yeah, pickings were slim...had to make do.

Looking at the bow, eye balling how to make my support for the bow sprit and not interfere with my drip rails....

This will serve as a bow sprit mount, tie down points and add a little bit of a beauty line. I still have to cut out a slot in it as well as add a base mount for the bow sprit near the mast.
