Illinois State Fair PDR Day 3

More coming later tonight. You know, his craftsmanship is exemplary, even in "wilderness" conditions. Getting this guy was a miracle of some sort: you couldn't have picked a better ambassador, with his quiet, easy-going manner.

He is definitely evangelizing people to get into the PDR design. His kids are exceptionally well-behaved and a credit to their parents; they too are teaching folks about the boat and being great helpers.

Today they were working on paint designs and measuring out the sail to cut. Even though his kids have to go back to school in 2 days, the boat looks well on the way to being compete for Saturday, if the paint dries.
